Are you ready for some PLAYOFFS?

Well, regular season is over and only a few teams will continue the journey to promise land... Superbowl XLV, but not all the teams that made it, actually deserve being there. The Seattle Seahawks are in because those are the rules - Division Champions will host at least one game - But the record they get, a losing season will put other teams with better records in a worst position entering the playoffs or maybe some of them didn't make it to the playoffs.

Should NFL need to review this? Maybe. This is the first time this is happening, but I personally think that this kind of issues need to be reviewed by the league. I'm not saying that a division champion with a losing record should not made the playoffs, but wild card teams with a better record should be granted to host a game and the losing season champion not, as simple as that.

Other combination are too possible to fix the issue. For example: if a team with a better record is not making the playoffs, but that team played the team with the losing record, winning their match, then maybe the losing record champion should be replaced by the other team.

A lot of things need to be revisited first, before this kind of changes be implemented in the NFL, but I think the league will be reviewing the issue in the following months trying to find a crease on how to make things more confident and attractive to the owners, teams and fans.

Don't you think?
